The application for anticipatory bail is made on the ground that there were a consensual physical relations between the petitioner and the victim girl, who had a love affair for three years. It is further submitted that the physical relations were on the promise of a marriage.

We have carefully considered the statement of the victim girl under section 164 of the CrPC and the other documents on record. It also appears that charge sheet has not been filed. 3.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a Bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further conditions that the petitioner shall meet the investigating officer as and when required until further orders and he shall appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within a fortnight from date. 5.

It is ordered that the investigation be completed within a period of four months from date.
