Commercial quantity of phensedyl syrup containing codeine phosphate was allegedly recovered from the joint possession of the accused persons including this petitioner. Commercial quantity of contraband items being involved, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail. 2.

The prayer for bail stands rejected.

CRM (NDPS) 451 of 2024 is dismissed.

However, the petitioner is in custody for 186 days. Beyond filing of charge sheet, there has been no progress in the trial.

We request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the extent possible and conclude the same at an early date. 6.

The parties shall communicate this order to the learned Trial Court.
