1. The petitioner has already been granted interim bail by order dated November 7, 2024. The petitioner renews his prayer for confirmation of bail.

2. It appears that the petitioner has been in custody for 423 days. Eighteen witnesses have been cited in the chargesheet. This court does not find there is any possibility of early conclusion of the trial.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that there are no other adverse reports and the petitioner is complying with the conditions.

4. It appears that February 7, 2025 has been fixed for framing of charge. Under such circumstances, this court is inclined to confirm the interim bail granted to the petitioner on the terms and conditions that the petitioner will appear before

the learned trial court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever or commit similar offences in future. As the bond has already been furnished, all other conditions mentioned in paragraph 5 of the order dated November 7, 2024 shall be complied with by the petitioner.

5. In the event the petitioner fails to comply with the conditions as enshrined hereinbefore, it is open to the trial court to cancel the bail of the petitioner without any further reference to this Court.
