Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that out of misunderstanding the present case has been initiated. The physical relationship between the petitioner and the victim is consensual. He seeks for grant of anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner.

Learned Advocate for the State, opposing such prayer for anticipatory bail, submits that there are specific
allegations against this petitioner of his involvement in the alleged offence. He seeks for dismissal of the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Learned Advocate for the de facto complainant leaves the matter to the discretion of this Court.

Perused the case diary and the materials on record. 6.
The victim in her statement implicates this petitioner of forcibly entering into physical relationship with the victim several times without her consent. Consequently, the victim became pregnant. Considering the materials as above and the nature and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to extend the benefit of anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The application being CRM (A) 822 of 2025 stands dismissed.
