The matter has been mentioned for correction of the order dated 12th December, 2024.

In the 2nd line of the 2nd page of the said order it has been recorded that the candidates having height 169.5 cm and above have been permitted to participate in the Physical Standard Test (in short, "PST"). Instead of PST it will be Physical Efficiency Test (in short, "PET") as has been recorded in all the previous orders referred to in the said order. As a consequence of such inadvertent mistake in recording PST instead of PET, the operative portion also stands as "petitioner nos.1, 2 and 4 shall be granted to participate in the PST on 12th December, 2024". Instead of PST it should be recorded as PET.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that due to such mistake in the order the petitioners have not been allowed to participate in the PET on 12th December, 2024. The petitioners are, according to the

learned advocate, still at the place where the PET had been conducted on 12th December, 2024. The respondent authorities who are conducting the PET have informed the petitioners which is communicated to the Court through the petitioners' advocate that the respondent authorities will be able to conduct PET even today if the order is corrected.

Since there has been a mistake in the order which apparently has prevented the petitioners from participating in the PET on 12th December, 2024, the order is corrected granting the petitioner nos.1, 2 and 4 permission to appear in the PET that may be held today (13.12.2024).

Let the corrections be incorporated in the order dated 12th December, 2024. The order dated 12th December, 2024 should be now read, meant and construed with this order passed today.

The respondent authorities shall make necessary arrangements so that the petitioners, if are present at the place wherein the PET had taken place yesterday, is present today with this order can appear in the PET. (Arindam Mukherjee, J.)
