Petitioner and the State are represented.

The petitioner is alleged to have inflicted incised wounds upon the victim.

I have gone through the case diary as well as the injury report. It is found that injuries have not been described as grievous.

It is also submitted that the investigation of the case has ended in a chargesheet. The petitioner has been in custody since August 24, 2025.

Hence, considering the nature of injuries, nature of allegations and also taking into account the period of detention, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 6.

Hence, the application for bail stands allowed. 7.

Accordingly, I direct that the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalpaiguri, subject to condition that the petitioner shall appear before the learned Trial Court on every date of hearing until further orders and shall not intimidate witnesses and/or tamper with evidence in any manner whatsoever.

In the event, the petitioner fails to comply with the conditions as enshrined hereinbefore, it is open to the Trial Court to cancel the bail without further reference to this Court.

CRM (M) 329 of 2025 is thus disposed of.

10. Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
