1. This is an application seeking a direction for expeditious disposal of G.R. Case No.5334 of 2022 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Siliguri.

2. Mr. Souri Ghosal, learned Advocate for the petitioners submit that charges have been framed on 8th September, 2023 and thereafter only CSW1, i.e. the petitioner No.1 herein being the complainant has been examined. The petitioner no.1 is a senior citizen aged about 70 years. He seeks for a direction for expeditious disposal of the case.

3. None appears on behalf of the State.

4. Mr.

Nilay Chakraborty, learned Additional Public Prosecutor who usually appears on behalf of the State is

requested to appear in this matter with a junior of his choice. Let appearance of the learned Advocates be regularized by the concerned authority.

5. Learned Advocate for the petitioners is directed to serve copy of the application along with its annexures to Mr. Chakraborty.

6. Mr. Chakraborty, learned Additional Government Pleader also submits that a direction may be issued for early disposal of the case pending before learned trial court.

7. Upon going through the orders annexed, it is found that charges have been framed on 8th September, 2023 and till date only one witness has been examined i.e. CSW1, the complainant.

8. In view of the above, the revisional application being CRR 531 of 2025 is disposed of directing the learned Trial Court to dispose of G.R. Case No.5334 of 2022 pending before it as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

9. No order as to costs.

10. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

11. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

12. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on urgent basis upon compliance of all formalities.
