1. The petitioner prays for bail on the ground of prolonged detention. The petitioner is the jethu (paternal uncle) of the victim girl.
2. Considering the materials including the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 and the relationship between the parties and considering the mode and manner in which the offence has been committed, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
