The petitioner has raised certain issues in the representation dated 14th September, 2023 highlighting the irregularities in connection with misappropriation of public fund from the cattle haat regulated by the Alipurduar Zilla Regulated Market Committee.

The representation is pending consideration at the end of the District Magistrate, who is the Chairman of the Alipurduar Zilla Regulated Market Committee. Without entering into the merits of the representation, the same is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate and Chairman to consider the representation in accordance with law.

In the event any remedial measure is required to be taken, the same shall be taken by the District Magistrate forthwith. The representation shall be disposed of at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.
