Act, the present application has been preferred.

Mr. Misra, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that pertaining to a purported incident seven years after the marriage, the complaint was lodged falsely implicating the petitioner. There was a matrimonial dispute since long and a complaint has been lodged exaggerating the alleged incident. All co-accused persons have already been granted anticipatory bail and upon completion of investigation chargesheet has also been

submitted and as such, the petitioner may be granted anticipatory bail on any stringent condition. Mr. Sarkar, learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the petitioner's prayer and submits that there are strong incriminating materials against the petitioner as would be explicit from the injury report and the other documents. Upon hearing the learned advocates and considering the materials on record, particularly, the injury report, the nature of accusations and the extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, I am not inclined to exercise any discretion in favour of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the application being CRM (A) no.895 of 2025 is dismissed.
