The petitioner is in custody for more than 600 days and prays for bail.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. Contraband article of more than commercial quantity has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. In view of the statutory restriction laid down under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.
The application being CRM 517 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of.
