The petitioner is a Group - D employee (Orderly Peon) of the Tufangaj - I Panchayat Samity. The petitioner is claiming that since he has served the said organization for more than 10 years, the benefit of the Memorandum of the Finance Department, Audit Branch, Government of West Bengal, Bearing No. 1107-F(P) dated February 25, 2016 be given to him.

A representation of the petitioner to the said effect is pending consideration before the Block Development Officer, Tufanganj - I of the said Samity, the respondent no. 4 herein, the said representation dated August 12, 2024 forms part of the writ petition, being Annexure P-10. The petitioner is praying disposal of the said representation.

The respondent no. 4 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 2512 of 2024 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
