The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-consideration of a representation dated August 20, 2024, inter alia, seeking disbursement of gratuity and other death benefits in respect of her deceased son late Kartick Raha.
It is submitted on behalf of the State authorities that the concerned authority being the respondent no. 4 be directed to consider the representation in accordance with law.
In view of the above, WPA 2523 of 2024 stands disposed of by directing the respondent no.
4 to consider the representation dated August 20, 2024 within a period of six weeks from date from the date of communication of this order and without being influenced by any observation made on the merits of the case and after giving a right of hearing on the affected party.
It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case. The respondent no. 4 is to act strictly in accordance with law.
There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavits have been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
