The petitioner applied for general transfer on special ground on account of illness of his spouse. The medical test was conducted and the matter has been forwarded to the West Bengal Central School Service Commission as per procedure. The case is now pending before the commission and is yet to be disposed of. The writ petition is disposed of directing the West Bengal Central School Service Commission to proceed with the transfer application of the petitioner which is pending, in the offline manner as the online portal has been suspended.

The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order. If the petitioner is found eligible, necessary order shall be issued within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order. If any of the authorities in the process finds the petitioner ineligible, necessary communication shall be made to the petitioner. In case the petitioner's application for transfer is considered favorably, the petitioner shall be shown the vacancy position for exercising option for a particular school.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
