February 11, 2025 by the alleged contemnor no. 1 in turn has been credited to the bank account of the writ petitioner being the petitioner in the contempt application.

Anirban Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has confirmed that the petitioner has received the money but the petitioner claims further interest. So far as the claim of interest is concerned, is not within the domain of the contempt petition. However, if the petitioner is legally entitled to get interest he may take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

In view of the submissions recorded above made on behalf of the parties, nothing further survives in this contempt proceeding.

Accordingly, rule issued stands discharged.

The contempt proceeding being W.P.C.R.C. 2 of 2025 stands dropped and closed.

The contempt application being W.P.C.R.C. 2 of 2025 accordingly stands disposed of.

Consequently, the applications being CAN 1 of 2025, CAN 2 of 2025 and CAN 3 of 2025 stand disposed of.
