1. Petitioners contend there is delay in lodging First Information Report. Hence, they pray for anticipatory bail.

2. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

3. Learned Advocate for the de-facto complainant also opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

4. We have considered the materials on record including statement of the victim under Section 183 of BNSS. Her statement implicates the petitioner in the crime.

5. Keeping in mind the nature of the crime and prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
