APP Mr. Aniruddha Biswas ... for the State-respondent(s) Leaned advocate for the petitioner has prayed for apology in view of the inadvertent mistake which was committed in course of hearing of the application for Anticipatory Bail. To that effect, an application being CRAN 1 of 2026 has been taken out.
In view of the aforesaid, the paragraphs in the third page of the order dated 07.01.2026, being - "However, having regard to the conduct of the learned advocate for the petitioners before this court, a cost of
Rs.10,000/- is imposed upon him to be deposited with the learned Registrar, High Court, Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri by 14th January, 2026.
In case, such amount is deposited, the learned Registrar, High Court, Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri will acknowledge the amount and issue an acknowledgement receipt.
In case, such amount is not deposited, the learned advocate for the petitioners, namely, Arijit Ghosh, would be debarred from practicing after 14th January, 2026 before the Circuit Bench of High Court at Jalpaiguri.
A Report of Compliance be placed before this Court on 15th January, 2026 when the application will appear under the same heading" - are hereby recalled.
However, the rest of the directions passed in the order dated 07.01.2026 will remain unaltered. Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2026 is disposed of.
