The petitioner seeks transfer. He is the teacher of Panch Veer Junior Hindi High School. His application for transfer is pending consideration at the end of the school authority.

According to the Government Notification dated December 21, 2021, the time line within which the application for transfer is to be considered at the end of the school is two weeks from the date of receipt of the transfer application from the applicant. In case of rejection, reason is to be communicated to the applicant within the said two weeks.

In the present case, the petitioner has neither been intimated about the rejection nor his application forwarded to the concerned authority within the time line as specified by the Government.

The learned advocate representing the School submits that necessary steps shall be taken.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the school to take immediate

steps to consider the application for transfer filed by the petitioner. The school shall intimate the fate of the transfer application to the petitioner within a fortnight from the date of communication of this order. In the event, the school is of the opinion that the application of the petitioner may be considered favourably, then, necessary consequential steps shall be taken.

It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that at present the online portal relating to transfer applications has been suspended, accordingly, steps shall be taken by the school to forward all documents to the office of the District Inspector of Schools in the offline mode.

Affidavit-of-service and the supplementary affidavit filed in Court today are taken on record.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
