The petitioner is in custody for more than a year and submits that charge has not been framed as yet. He renews his prayer for bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.

Bail prayer of the petitioner was turned down on 3rd July, 2025 after submission of charge sheet. This Court is informed that charge is yet to be framed.

Narcotic substance of commercial quantity has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. In view of the statutory restriction laid down under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The learned trial Court is directed to consider the charges on the next date fixed before him and take the trial to its logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible.

CRM (NDPS) 550 of 2025 is disposed of.
