1. The petitioner prays for grant of bail. He is in custody for 255 days. Charges have not yet been framed. He further contends that this is a case of suicide and he is remotely connected to the offence.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the state produces the case diary and opposes the prayer for bail. He takes us through the statements of various witnesses recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and also the post mortem report.

3. We have gone through materials in the case diary. Considering the opinion of the State, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
