It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that despite having filed the above representations, the police authorities have taken no action in the matter.

On behalf of police authorities, a Report dated December 1, 2024 is filed in Court which

confirms that the petitioner has filed a Civil Suit against the private respondent, who it is alleged has taken steps for dispossession of the petitioner from the subject premises. In the said suit, an order of injunction has also been passed restraining the private respondents from interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said premises by the petitioner. In view of the above, nothing survives in the present writ petition. WPA 2565 of 2024 stands disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, if the circumstances so warrants in accordance with law and if so advised.
