1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits as follows. By an order dated 22/12/2025 passed in CRM (A) 943 of 2025, the petitioners were granted anticipatory bail, inter alia, on the condition that to furnish a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local. However, the petitioners could not find local surety. That is why, the petitioners could not obtain benefit of the order of anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the State.
3. It appears that the petitioners were unable to find local sureties.
4. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the condition of anticipatory bail as present in the order
dated 22/12/2025 to furnish at least one local surety is hereby modified. The petitioners shall be permitted to furnish such bond with two registered sureties like amount each. The other conditions shall remain the same.
5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, CRAN 1 of 2026 is disposed of.
6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
