Rajganj Police Station Case No. 289 of 2024 dated August 11, 2024 under Sections 115(2)/74/103(1)/3(5) Bharatiya Nayaya Sanhita 2023 has been started against two persons alleging that their involvement in the murder of the husband of the petitioner.

The petitioner complaining laxity in the investigation is praying that the accused persons be arrested immediately.

Ms.

Bedashruti Bose, learned advocate for the State files the status report of the said criminal case which is taken on record.

It appears from the said report that one of the accused persons has already been arrested and against another warrant of

arrest has been issued, besides chargesheet has been submitted.

The progress of the investigation as it appears from the said report is satisfactory, therefore, further order to activate investigation of the said criminal case at this stage is not necessary.

WPA 2567 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to be admitted.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
