Petitioners are the maternal uncle and aunt of the principal accused. It is contended there was a romantic relationship between the said principal accused and the victim. As the relationship did not fructify in marriage, victim committed suicide. They pray for anticipatory bail. 2.
Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer. 3.
We have considered the materials on record including statements of witnesses. From their statements it appears that there was a romantic relationship between one Najrul and the victim. Najrul demanded money to marry the victim. Victim committed suicide. Petitioners are the relations of Najrul. In view of the extent of their complicity in the crime, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to them.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of the BNSS 2023.

Petitioners shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date. 6.
The application being CRM (A) 968 of 2024 is disposed of.
