The petitioner is aggrieved by the order dated October 11, 2023 passed by the District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Jalpaiguri in an appeal under Section 54 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955. In view of the availability of an efficacious alternative remedy under Section 10 of the West Bengal land reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997, the writ petition is not maintainable, accordingly WPA 2548 of 2023, is dismissed without any order as to costs. This order however shall not prevent the petitioner to assail the order impugned before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
