By presenting this writ petition, petitioner has prayed for direction upon the concerned State authority to take certain steps in terms of relevant provisions of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955.

In pursuit of such remedy under the relevant provisions of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 petitioner is required to approach before the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal not before the writ court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

Hence, the writ petition is not maintainable and same stands dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
