(NDPS) 594 of 2025 In Re : An Application for bail under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Siliguri Police Station Case No. 30 of 2025 dated 12.01.2025 under Sections 21(b)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

It is a fact that grounds of arrest have not been communicated to the petitioner at the time of his arrest. Contraband substance below commercial quantity has been allegedly recovered from the co-accused and the petitioner's name has transpired from his statement. However, the other allegations levelled against the petitioner are of forgery and manufacturing fake VISAs in favour of others. The petitioner has been residing in the country without a valid document

from 2012. The grounds for bail taken by the petitioner in the present application have been dealt with by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court earlier in rejecting the bail prayer on 19th September, 2025. This Court does not find any change in the circumstances of the case which warrants reconsideration of the said prayer.

Considering the material on record, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

Learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and take the same to its logical conclusion in accordance with law.

CRM (NDPS) 594 of 2025 is disposed of.

Case diary be returned.
