Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher at the Baro Naldhondra Satibari, 4th Plan Primary School, Satmile, Coochbehar. He prayed for transfer on 01.10.2024 on medical ground of his wife as also on the ground of distance between the place of work and the residence. Yet, the same has not been considered by the respondent authorities. Heard the learned counsel for the State and the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

In view of the above, let respondent no. 2 consider the petitioner's application in accordance with law and expeditiously, preferably within eight weeks from the date of the communication of this order.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
