In re: IA No: CRAN 1 of 2025
1. Anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner by a Division Bench on January 24, 2025. The petitioner says that he was unable to arrange for surety and, therefore, till date has not been able to act in terms of that order. He prays for one week's extension to comply with the aforesaid order granting him anticipatory bail.
2. Learned State Counsel in his usual fairness, leaves the matter to the discretion of the Court.
3. Taking a lenient view of the matter, I extend the time period for the petitioner to surrender before the jurisdictional Court by a week from date.
4. The application being IA No: CRAN/1/2025 is thus, disposed of.
5. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Arijit Banerjee, J.)
