Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, submits that the petitioner is the owner of the land where cultivation of contraband has been going on, he is thickly connected with the offence and is in complete knowhow. Having considered the fact that the petitioner prima facie is involved in such cultivation of contraband, I am of
the view that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.
Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
Accordingly, CRM(A) 976 of 2025 is dismissed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
