Ms. Rima Sarkar, learned State Advocate and Mr. Hirak Barman, learned State Advocate led by Mr. Subir Kumar Saha, learned Additional Government Pleader appear for the respondents State.
Referring to the complaint dated September 7, 2024 at page 23 to the writ petition the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the jurisdictional police station in respect of a transaction of the Mutual Fund concerned and the petitioner alleges that, he is the victim of the crime and the police authority has not taken any step.
Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that, the necessary FIR has already been lodged on the same day, i.e. on September 7, 2024 bearing FIR No. 99 of 2024.
In view of the above, the jurisdictional Police Station is directed to proceed expeditiously with the complaint and to take all necessary steps in accordance with law. The Charge-sheet has to be framed and filed positively within four weeks from date.
The jurisdictional criminal court is also requested to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.
Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.
This Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
The writ petition, WPA 2628 of 2024 stands disposed of on the above terms and without any order as to costs.
