Heard the learned Counsels for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the minor. Her statement shows petitioner and co-accused assaulted her. She was also raped in the course of the incident. Her statement is corroborated by medical evidence. In view of gravity of the offence we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Application for bail is, thus, rejected.
