Das ... for the petitioner(s) Mr. Bhaskar Das Mr. Chattu Roy ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioner no.1 is the married sister-in-law; petitioner no.2 is the son of the petitioner no.1 and the petitioner no.3 is the unmarried sister-in-law of the deceased.

Learned advocate also submits that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case on the basis of embellished facts.

Learned advocate for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and draws the

attention of the court to the statement of the deceased at the time when she was admitted in the medical institute. Such statement incorporates the role of each of these petitioners.

Having considered the same, I am of the opinion that the privilege of anticipatory bail may not be extended to the petitioners.

Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

Accordingly, CRM(A) 989 of 2025 is dismissed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
