Heard learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Minor victim was raped by the petitioner who is an elderly person. His bail prayer was rejected on merits in May, 2024. Trial has already commenced.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
