1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the record.

2. Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondents.

3. Mr. Sumit Kumar, learned Advocate who usually appears for the State respondents, is directed by this Court to appear in the matter. His appearance be regularized.

4. The petitioner prays for grant of higher scale of pay upon obtaining a Master Degree in Mathematics. The said application is pending before the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Coochbehar.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the concerned District Inspector of

Schools (Secondary Education), Coochbehar, the respondent no.3, to dispose of the representation in accordance with law and the prevailing notifications, upon hearing the Headmaster of the concerned school as also the petitioner. The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner.

6. The said communication shall reach the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

7. There shall be no order as to costs.

8. The parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
