Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits they have been falsely implicated due to political rivalry. They pray for anticipatory bail.

Learned Counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the victim. He has implicated the petitioners in the assault by bamboo stick and iron rod etc. He suffered head injury and was hospitalised. Under such

circumstances, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
