Petitioner submits he has been implicated due to political rivalry. Co-accused have been granted pre-arrest bail by a co-ordinate Bench. He prays for similar relief. 2.
Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He submits victim suffered injury on the head.

We have considered the material on record.
Allegations against the petitioner are general and omnibus. Co-accused have been granted pre-arrest bail. Petitioner stands on the same footing with the said co-accused. Under such circumstances we are inclined to extend the similar relief to the petitioner also.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to
the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

Petitioner shall appear before the court below and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date. 6.
The application being CRM (A) 982 of 2023 is disposed of.
