1. The writ petition is not maintainable before this Court as the petitioner has challenged inaction on the part of the District Land and Land Reforms Officer. The petitioner is granted liberty to approach the appropriate Tribunal.

2. Mr. Paul submits that only a direction for consideration of the application would suffice.

3. However, as this Court is without any jurisdiction to decide any issue under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, such order cannot be passed. However, this Court expresses a hope that the application, if filed, shall be disposed of expeditiously. The petitioner has a very innocuous prayer.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable.

5. The parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
