1. The affidavit of service filed in court is taken on record.

2. State is represented.

3. The petitioner has challenged an order passed by the appellate authority under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, by which mutation in the name of the petitioner was cancelled.

4. Under such circumstances, this writ petition cannot be entertained. The High Court does not have jurisdiction to entertain such an application. The remedy of the petitioner is before the competent tribunal.

5. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the tribunal in accordance with law.

6. Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.

7. There shall be no order as to costs.

8. Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
