Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than a year and there is no progress in trial.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.
Allegation against the petitioner is serious in nature. Considering the material on record particularly the statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. Learned trial Court is directed to record the evidence of the victim at the earliest.
CRM(M) 418 of 2025 is disposed of.
