Namita Narayan And ANR v. The State Of West Bengal And ORS
08.01.2024 Item No.7 gd/ssd WPA/2917/2023 NAMITA NARAYAN & ANR.
VS STATE OF WEST BENGAL & ORS.
Mr. Kunaljit Bhattacharjee, Mr. Alok Sah ..for the petitioners.
Mr. Subir Kumar Saha, AGP, Mr. Anirban Banerjee ..for the State.
Ms. Suman Sehanabish (Mondal) ..for the respondent nos. 8,9 & 10.
The grievance of the petitioner is that no decision on the objection filed by the petitioners against the recommendation of the Heritage Committee for declaring the premises of the petitioners as a Heritage Building has yet been taken.
The learned Advocate appearing for the Cooch Behar Municipality being the respondent nos.8, 9 and 10 submits that a reasoned order has been passed on September 13, 2023.
A copy of such order which has been furnished by the learned Advocate for the Municipality in court today is taken on record. A copy of the same has also been supplied to the learned Advocate of the petitioners.
Since a decision has already been taken, the instant writ petition has become infructuous and the same is, accordingly, disposed of.
Petitioners will be at liberty to work out her remedies in accordance with law.
