This application prays for leave to be granted by this Court to the petitioner for settlement of the subject dispute under Section 4A of the West Bengal Sales Tax (Settlement of Dispute) Act, 1999.

Accordingly, this application is allowed in terms of prayer (a) of the petition which is set out below:- "Leave be given to your petitioner to opt for settlement of dispute as contemplated under Section 4A of the West Bengal (Settlement of Dispute) Act, 1999 by allowing this application filed by your petitioner." We clarify that the words 'Sales Tax' is deemed to be incorporated after West Bengal in prayer (a).

The appeal (APO/109/2018) and the connected application ( IA No. GA/3/2020) are disposed of by this order.
