...for the KMC The Court: The petitioners seek to challenge a tax bill issued by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, wherein the relevant property has been mentioned as a property under Thika Tenancy. The petitioners claim that they have entered into an agreement for sale in respect of the said property. I am of the view that merely by dint of an agreement for sale, the petitioners do not have any right, based on which they can maintain this writ petition before this Court.

Accordingly, WPO/11/2025 is dismissed.
