...for the respondent The Court: Affidavit-in-opposition filed in Court be taken on record. Learned advocate appearing for the hirer seeks extension of time to file reply. The application is taken up for consideration subsequent to the order dated January 19, 2021. By such order, the financier was directed to hand over the vehicle to the hirer upon the hirer paying the amount directed therein. The Court is informed that the parties worked on the basis of the order dated January 19, 2021. The parties inform the Court that none of the parties preferred any appeal against such order.

In such circumstances, permitting the hirer to file affidavit in reply will be an idle formality.

The order dated January 19, 2021 is confirmed. AP 17 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
