The Court: The petitioner claims compassionate employment on account of the death of his father, Ramesh Kumar Srivastav, who died on 7th November, 2004. The first application is stated to have been made on 7th February, 2005. The application is handwritten and does not bear any receipt. The application is also stated to have been made by one Sandhya Srivastav.

By a communication, which appears to be dated 24th January, 2014, the petitioner's mother was asked to submit a fresh application as to why such communication made after ten years on the death of her husband appears unexplained. The petitioner's mother made a further application on 24th September, 2020. Subsequently, on 13th November, 2020 the petitioner finally made an application for compassionate employment. This Court notes that the application is miserably and hopelessly delayed and belated.

The prayer of the petitioner apart from being extremely suspicious the pleadings and documents annexed thereto are equally untrustworthy, the writ petition is dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
