The Court: The matter has been appearing in the list for a considerable period of time after it was initially placed in the warning list but no one appeared on behalf of the parties when the same had been called on. Subsequently, the matter appeared in the list marked as 'Second Time'. Even then no one appeared on behalf of either the petitioner or the alleged contemnors. Today, the matter is appearing in the list marked as 'Last Chance'. At this juncture, an advocate, Ms. Vedika Surekha appears and submits that she is representing the petitioner and seeks an adjournment for at least two weeks since the matter is an old one and have suddenly appeared in the list. This submissions that the matter has suddenly appeared in the list cannot be accepted since the matter initially was in the warning list and then placed in the list today, in the manner as indicated hereinabove. It is apparent that the

petitioner is not interested in proceeding with the matter but only seeks time when the matter has been placed in the list marked as 'Last Chance' presumably to keep the same pending for some more time without any effective hearing. After filing a contempt application the petitioner cannot be permitted to take things so lightly. The prayer for adjournment is refused. The contempt proceedings are dropped.

The contempt petition is disposed of without any further order. Rule, if any, stands discharged.
