The Court :- Affidavit-of-service is taken on record. It appears that paper publication in two newspapers namely Dainik Vishwamitra and Business Standard have been made.

Despite such service none appears for the respondents. It is submitted that respondents are not represented before the learned Arbitrator. The learned Arbitrator was appointed by consent of the parties. The mandate of the learned Arbitrator expired on 12.2.2025. Petitioner seeks extension of the mandate by a further period of six months. It is submitted that the proceedings are at the stage of final arguments by the claimants. Series of the minutes annexed to the application indicate that the respondents had not appeared before the learned Arbitrator. Initially, respondent nos. 1 and 2 were appearing, but the rest of the respondents stayed away from the proceedings. Thereafter respondent nos. 1 and 2 also stopped appearing. The entire background has been recorded by the learned Arbitrator in the minutes dated August 22, 2024 (12th Sitting). Under such circumstances, the Court does not find any reason not to extend the mandate of learned Arbitrator by a further period of six months from the date of communication of this order.

Let the mandate of the learned Arbitrator be extended for a further period of six months.
