The Court : Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner who is working as Assistant Teacher. He submits, his client had made representation dated 19th June, 2020 to District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) Kolkata for correction of service book. The contention of correction arises because his client was appointed as Assistant Teacher in Physical Science (Chemistry) with effect from 5th August 1991 in Shree Maheshwari Vidyalaya. However her approval of appointment is with effect from 1st September, 1999. Mr. Jana, learned advocate appears on behalf of the School and submits, his client had prepared petitioner's service book in terms of the approval granted

on 1st September, 1999, that is more than 20 years ago. He opposes the writ petition and seeks its dismissal.

Mr. Datta, learned advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, approval was granted long back. The approval was duly issued on ascertaining the particulars as were with the concerned office dealing with the matter of granting approval. Petitioner does not have any right to come today and claim that there be correction of the date of grant of approval. The District Inspector of Schools(S.E.) Kolkata will consider and deal with representation dated 19th June, 2020, copy of which appears at page 35 of the writ petition. Petitioner will obtain and serve a copy of this order along with representation upon the office. The office may require hearing or assistance from petitioner, which is to be rendered. The order dealing with the representation should be made and communicated to petitioner within four weeks from date. Writ petition is disposed of.
