...for the petitioner The Court: The limited grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's application for drug licence is not being processed by the respondent, thereby putting the petitioner to the risk of immense loss due to loss of business.

Despite several representations, the respondents are sitting tight over the issue.

In spite of service, none appears for the respondent at the time of call. The affidavit of service filed today be kept on record. WPO/43/2023 is accordingly disposed of by directing respondent No.3, the Assistant Director, Directorate of Drug Control, Government of West Bengal to process and decide the application filed by the petitioner for obtaining drug licence as expeditiously as possible, positively within a

fortnight from the date of communication of this order to the said respondent by acting on a server copy of this order. No order as to costs.
