Mr. A. Bhattacharyya, Adv.,...for the petitioner. Mr. B.P. Vaisya, Adv.; Mr. G. Das,, Adv., for State. The Court: Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioners are unapproved teachers of Shree Digambar Jain Vidyalaya. By a representation dated 20.12.2023, they made an application before the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Kolkata, seeking approval of the teachers at the said school. The said representation is pending and has not evoked any response from the concerned respondent till date.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State denies the allegations made in the writ petition and submits that if a fresh representation is made to the school and the concerned DI, the same shall be decided in accordance with law.

It appears that a representation was made by the petitioners to the concerned DI. But, the same has not been answered. The writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation in this regard before the concerned DI as well as the school within a week from this date. Within four weeks therefrom, the concerned DI shall consider and decide the said representation in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order.
